Overview:

This five days safari is the extreme adventure to Uganda’s wilderness from the stunning views of the mighty Nile River, to the vast Savannah plains and the African big five game animals. This great adventure trip is sure to give you an African Wildlife experience you have been yearning for.

The 5 Days Safari to Uganda will lead you towards far north east Uganda to the largest protected area. Here you will stand chances to see variety of Savannah animals including the African big 5 animals such as Buffaloes, Elephants, leopard, lions and rhinos (white). Other mammals include warthogs, Uganda Kobs, hyenas, oribi, jackals, waterbucks, bush bucks, birds among many species, also the safari will bring you to the most beautiful landscape of Uganda’s protected areas.

Day 1: Welcome to Uganda the Pearl of Africa.

On Arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be welcomed by our driver guide who will drive you to your evening accommodation for relax and dinner as you prepare to explore Uganda the following morning.

Day 2: Transfer to Gulu town Via Ziwa Rhino sanctuary.

Early in the morning after breakfast, you will meet up with your driver guide who will brief you about the whole safari. You will head Gulu town via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking (white rhinos), you will have lunch after you have tracked. The rhinos are the second biggest mammals on earth.

After lunch embark on your journey to the northern part of Uganda and you will have dinner and an overnight stay in Gulu town.  This journey will take you approximately 10hrs.

Day 3 Transfer to Kidepo Valley National park and evening game drive

Early in the morning you will be picked up by your driver to transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park. There will be a lot to see as you advance to the most magnificent and Africa’s finest wilderness, you will drive through the remote village of Northern Uganda, to the spectacular Karamojong homesteads, and finally into the valleys of Kidepo the views of the park are breath taking.

On arrival in the park, you will have to check in at the lodge. After check in, relax, and prepare for the evening game drive through the Narrus valley.

Day 4: Morning game drive and Karamajong cultural immersion.

Very early in the morning at 6:00am after taking a hot cup of coffee, you will head to the savannah plains for a game drive where you will encounter animals like elephants, elands, zebras among others. In your customized safari vehicle, you will drive along the different tracks to spot this wildlife. Morning game drives in Kidepo Valley National Park lasts up to 5hrs. you can enjoy your packed snack and continue with the game drive after you will head back to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.

 In the afternoon, have a cultural experience that will bring into contact with Karamojong people at Karenga. Meet the local elders and have an opportunity to interact with them. They will show you the kraals, the grinding stones and many more interesting items. A visit to these tribal cultures will give you an excellent feel of the real African Culture. Later return to the lodge to refresh yourselves, relax and have time to enjoy the wilderness night dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Transfer to Sipi Falls.
After breakfast, depart for Sipi Falls, the falls consists of three waterfalls, found in the village of Sipi, in the Kapchorwa district. The falls are one of the most awe-inspiring sights at the foothills of Mountain Elgon just at the edge of Mount Elgon National Park.

Check in at the lodge and have lunch.

Day 6: Transfer back to Kampala.

After Breakfast at your lodge, walk to the Sipi falls tourism information center for briefing by the local guide, you will experience the 3 levels of Sipi falls. After conquering this exciting hike, return to the lodge for lunch and meet up with your guide to transfer to Kampala with a stopover in jinja. Your guide will drop you at the airport (Entebbe international Airport) for your awaited departure flight.
