Day 1: Arrive and transfer to Guesthouse.

On your arrival at Entebbe airport, our English-speaking guide will receive you and transfer you to a guesthouse or hotel within Entebbe town. At your guesthouse or hotel, you will be given a briefing about the safari and get to know each other with the guide.

Day 2:Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park.

Today you will transfer by road to the beautiful Lake Mburo National Park by road. The park is approximately 5 hours from Entebbe. Along the way, you will stop at the equator line for a washroom break and you can as well take some photos and grab a bite. You will continue your journey via Lyantonde town for lunch after which you will proceed to Lake Mburo National Park home of zebra, girrafes, baboons, elands, warthogs, impalas and many more. Lake Mburo is one of the most beautiful parks in Uganda and known for the zebras. After the evening game drive, your guide will then drive you to your lodge for dinner and overnights rest.

Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi National Park.

Today you will transfer by road to the Bwindi Gorilla National Park by road. The park is approximately 4 hours from Lake Mburo National Park. Along the way, you will stop in Kabale town for a washroom break and you can as well take some photos and grab a bite. You will continue your journey following the winding scenic Kabale – Kisoro road. You will arrive at your lodge in time for dinner and overnights rest.

Day 4: Gorilla tracking and night in Bunyonyi.

Visiting the Mountain Gorillas, in the dense jungle of the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, is one of the most rewarding, moving and emotional activities that can be done in Africa.

The first time you perceive the presence of gorillas, either through their sounds or because you see them up close, the sensations that run through your body are indescribable. Your hair stands on end, your heart races, an emotion like you’ve never experienced overcomes you… This moment marks you forever. The Trekking begins at 8:00 am with registration and a short briefing by rangers. The trekking can last from a few hours to a whole day, depending on where the gorilla family is at that time.

After gorilla trekking, your driver guide will transfer you to a resort on the shores of Lake Bunyonyi the place of many little birds and one of the deepest lakes in Africa. You will check in on arrival have dinner and rest for the night.

Day 5: Transfer back to Entebbe for flight home.

Having had an energy giving breakfast, you will transfer back to Kampala via Mbarara and Masaka towns. Your driver guide will stop for a wash room break in Mbarara and Equator line. The transfer by road is adventure filled where you see colorful roadside markets, typical Ugandan town hustle & bustle, motorbike taxis and people working in their farmlands. You will then continue your journey to Entebbe where you will pass by a guesthouse to get refreshed before catching your flight home.
